She co-hosts the video interview program Open Book on Slate.com and is the director of NYU's Creative Writing Program. Brenda Shaughnessy's most recent book, Human Dark with Sugar (2008), won the James Laughlin Award from the Academy of American Poets and was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award. Shaughnessy teaches at Princeton, NYU, and Eugene Lang College The New School for Liberal Arts. Moderated by Helen Schulman, fiction coordinator at the School of Writing. |
